BEER SELECTION
Old Church Pale Ale
Old Church Pale Ale has a rich malty flavor. It is well balanced with centennial hops for bittering and generous amounts of Cascade hops for flavor and aroma, including dry-hopping. The original gravity of this beer is approximately 1.054. YBN states "Old Church is a malty pale ale with a fresh, flowery nose that reflects its dry-hopping." Casco Bay Weekly's Al Diamon calls Old Church Pale Ale "an eccentric masterpiece of a beer. It marries the characteristics of the classic British style with the adventurous attitudes of the Pacific Northwest to create a complex, fruity pint ...just what the world needed."
Mount Olympus Special Ale
Mount Olympus Special Ale is one of those beers designed over a few pints, then adjusted over a few batches that just doesn't fit into any beer style categories. The best we can do is describe it as a dark IPA. The ale contains a lot of two row malted barley with a little chocolate malt and roasted barley for flavor and color. It is well hopped with Centennial for bittering and copious amounts of Cascade hops for flavor and aroma, including dry-hopping. The original gravity of this beer is approximately 1.060.
Brandy Pond Blonde Ale
Brandy Pond Blonde Ale is an American style wheat ale made with 40% malted wheat and a hint of carapils and Munich specialty malts. Lightly hopped with Cascade hops, this beer has an original gravity of approximately 1.046. Yankee Brew News (YBN) calls Brandy Pond Blonde "a light thirst-slaking wheat ale firmly in the American wheat beer style--delicate and smooth without the assertive, phenolic-and-cloves character found in German-style weiss biers."
Pleasant Mountain Porter
Pleasant Mountain Porter has a rich malty flavor with a big caramel malt profile. Black Patent and Chocolate specialty malts round out this wonderfully sweet and enticing Porter. It is well balanced with Centennial and Cascade hops. The original gravity of Pleasant Mountain Porter is approximately 1.054.
