Restaurant and Brew Pub
was founded in 1992 and
is where Shipyard Brewing
Company began before expanding
the brewery to Portland.
Federal Jacks is
devoted to world-class
ales and inspired food
and is one of Maine's
first brew pubs and working
breweries. Featuring
cask condiitioned ale
and a full line of Shipyard
beer brewed right on the
premises.
The
Kennebunkport Brewing
Company (KBC) is located
right downstairs and offers
free tours of its seven
barrel brewery.
While youre there,
check out KBC Coffee and
Dry Goods. This
unique gift store offers
hand-crafted ales in growlers
and bottles, Maine-made
Capt'n Eli's Soda, wearables,
pint glass, gourmet foods,
and gifts. Internet
café, too.
Federal Jack's is open
7 days a week, year round.

Our flagship ale, styled after
the Canadian ales of old, has
a mild malt flavor followed by

Named for the elusive bluefin
tuna, this is a classic dry Irish
Stout. Prominent roasted barley
flavor, a mild hop presence, with

Island Light
Named after the Goat Island Lighthouse
in Cape Porpoise, this light ale
is low in alcohol with a crisp
and refreshing flavor. (3.88%

Taint
Town Pale Ale
A local favorite named for KBCs
location, (taint Kennebunk,
taint Kennebunkport.) A
classic pale ale with a subtle
balance between malt and hops.

Old Thumper
Originally brewed by the Ringwood
Brewery in Hampshire, England,
this full-bodied non-traditional
English Bitter has become the
unofficial beer of the Mug Club.

Seasonal
Shipyard Nitro:
This wheat-based Irish
Red Ale is coppery-orange
in color, with assertive
hop character and distinctive
wheat malt flavors. We
carbonate
this beer with a 75% nitrogen/
25% carbon dioxide gas
blend, producing the smooth,
creamy texture, which
makes this a very drinkable
beer. (5.2% abv; available
late Jan. thru Feb.)
E.S.B.: This Extra
Special Bitter has a rich
amber color with a nice
balance between malt and
British hops. A milder
version of our year round
Old Thumper. (5.16% abv;
available March thru
April.)
Raspberry Wheat:
For the fruit lover, this
American wheat ale is
gently
flavored with raspberry
essence. Great on its
own, or mellowed by a
layer of stout, this ale
is a warm weather tradition.
(4.5% abv; available April
through Aug.)
Sirius Summer Wheat:
Named for the summer star
used to guide sailors
ships through night seas,
this American style wheat
ale has a mellow malted
wheat flavor and mild
hop finish. Great with
a lemon or lime wedge
for added refreshment.

through Aug.)

Summer Solstice Ale:
Brewed in celebration
of the longest day of
the year,and the Lower
Village Festival; this
Ordinary English Bitter
is light-bodied with a
pleasant hop character
and coppery hue. (3.5%
abv; available mid June
through mid
July.)
The Kennebunk-Porter:
A KBC original! A very
drinkable porter with
roasted barley and chocolate
malt flavors followed
by a dry, mild hop finish.
(4.9% abv; available Labor
Day through Columbus Day.)
Pumpkinhead Ale:
A KBC favorite, this autumn
seasonal is like a pint
of
pumpkin pie. Hints of
cinnamon and nutmeg in
a light, wheat-based ale
are sure to please. (4.6%
abv; available Sept. through
Nov.)
Longfellow Winter Ale:
A full-bodied strong ale,
with porter and Scottish
ale character. A well-balanced
malty-hoppiness comes
through initially, and
it finishes long and dry.
(6.0% abv; available Columbus
Day through Jan.)
Prelude Holiday Ale:
A rich, nutty ale with
a soft hoppy finish and
an invitingdeep amber
hue. A true winter warmer
perfect for holiday cheer!

1st through Dec. 31st.)
