BEER SELECTION
Runabout Red Ale is made with only two hop additions to the kettle as opposed to three in most of our other brews. This brings out the malt charater. It is a well balanced beer suitable for pairing with all types of foods including spicey sauces, BBQ, grilled meats and vineagerettes and most any seafood. We have started bottling this beer for limited release and distribution at our pubs and specialty beer stores.
Brewed with American 2-row, caramel 20L , 40L & 80L
Hopped with Willamette and Nugget
5% Alc.\ vol.
Boathouse Brown Ale is a medium bodied brown Ale. It is brewed with caramel, chocolate and black malts to give it a deep mahogany color. It is well balanced with American hops and is a great session beer. It pairs well with grilled steaks and burgers, BBQ sauces and salads. It is excellent with lobster, mussels and rich sauces. 4.8% Alc./ vol
Lake Trout Stout is Midnight black with a thick and creamy head. It is a full body stout brewed with oatmeal and plenty of hops to balance the roasted barley. Our stout is an experience. It tastes the same way it looks dark and rich. You will preceive it as thick and chewy and our Lake Trout stout delivers. It is named after the famous deep water Sebago Lake Togue or Lake Trout which inhabit the depths of Maine's deepest lake. Enjoy. 5.8% Alc./ vol. India Pale Ale a stronger ale with high levels of hops and alcohol for preservation. We have followed the British tradition and created Frye's Leap IPA which is one of the hoppiest beers in Maine at 55 IBU's.
Brewed with American 2-row, caramel 20L & 60L
Highly hopped with Cascade, Centennial and Nugget and aggressively dry hopped with a mixture of Centennial and Cascade.
Hefeweizen is a golden unfiltered wheat beer. It is the only German-style Hefeweizen produced in Maine. We ferment it with a traditional German yeast strain which produces it's unique fruitiness. Malted red wheat gives it a light crisp body and dense white head. It is light in the body so it easy to drink at any time. Sebago Hefeweizen pairs well with shellfish, grilled vegetables and salads, as well as being an ideal thirst quencher. It is available March - August 3.8% Alc/ vol.
Brewed with American 2-row and Malted Wheat
Hopped with German Hallertau
Bass Ackwards Berryblue Ale is brewed during the Maine blueberry harvest. It is an unfiltered, all-natural mild pale ale made with American 2-row barley, Northwest hops and over 420 lbs of fresh Maine blueberries per batch. It is a refreshing, well balanced beer that has a crisp fruity aroma and finishes clean and dry. The name Bass Ackwards Berryblue Ale is for it's unconventional use of only fresh bluberries in the the fermentor without the use of flavorings added like most blueberry ales.
Available August-November 4% Alc./ vol.
Brewed with American 2-row and Caramel malt and fresh Maine Blueberries
Midnight Porter is a lucious deep ruby red beer with a dry smooth body. Caramel malts give this ale body and Black patent and chocolate malts provide its rich, chocolate-like flavor and ruby hue. This ale is hopped with domestically grown Northern Brewer hops and finished with Pacific Northwest varieties Willamette and Mt. Hood. Midnight Porter is great with heavier fare, grilled entrees and chocolate. 5% Alc./ vol.
Brewed with American 2-row and Caramel, Black Patent & Chocolate malts

Slick Nick Winter Ale is our most popular seasonal ale. The caramel and black malts we use to brew Slick Nick gives it the deep amber color. Slick Nick is an insidious brew and is our strongest beer. Slick Nick is a perfect match with rich sauces, BBQ, grilled meats and hearty sandwiches or simply enjoyed as a stand alone meal.
Brewed with American 2-row, caramel 60L & Black Patent
Hopped with Tettnanger and Northern Brewer
6.2% Alc.\ vol.
Northern Light Ale is crisp light body all malt beer. It roots are that of a European Lager yet we use our house ale yeast to ferment it.
